Endometriosis takes nine years to diagnose. That’s about to change. NICE has approved two tests: a saliva test reading microRNA markers, and a gut-sensor test returning results in 45 minutes, sparing women the keyhole surgery currently needed. buff.ly/QX3jHk8 #ShareGoodNewsToo

The ICE arrest total in tiny Mount Holly Springs, just 1.4 square miles with a population of fewer than 2,500, seems staggering. As of February, there were only 67 immigration arrests by local police across the entire state. But now this one borough is on track for nearly 100 arrests in a year.

This is quite a story from @willbunch.bsky.social about ICE's ramped up traffic stops in a small Pennsylvania town usually known for its trout fishing. Give it a read: GIFT LINK: share.inquirer.com/3Iv0yc

Epstein Survivor Dani Bensky: "When Senator Tillis asked Todd Blanche to meet with survivors, I don't think that he had the meeting in mind that we got. The meeting was very condescending, a lot of talking in circles, arguing semantics…We walked away with absolutely no answers."

“A Penn professor thought she’d sell 1000 copies of her ‘Odyssey’ translation. She sold a million this year alone, thanks to Christopher Nolan.” “West Philly's Emily Wilson, who penned a highly acclaimed translation of the epic poem in 2017, is having a big summer.”

2026, an abbot abducted and beaten, possibly due to a monastic governance dispute. Now THAT's getting medieval! (Genuinely monastic governance spats in the MA were LEGENDARY and could really dirty and fully included all of the above on occasion. All documented by episcopal and secular authorities!)

Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ I need so much more information by the way, this happened BEFORE the Schism Mass when SSPX was riding high and didn’t know anyone was getting excommunicated. I don’t know if that matters or if this is related but I am RIVETED

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Father Placide, superior of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue Abbey, remains. As revealed by the daily newspaper La Montagne, and relayed by our colleagues at La Dépêche and Le Figaro, the priest vanished during the night of June 23-24. Early the next morning, the other monks noticed his absence during matins. His cell was empty, neatly tidy, and an email sent during the night announced his resignation. While this message initially suggested a voluntary departure, several members of the community quickly alerted the police, convinced that their superior had not left of his own free will.
