I started watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and a character kicked a dog for no reason. I turned it off and have had no interest in ever watching it again. No amount of people saying it's good will undo the total disgust I felt and make me want to see it even a little bit.

Opening up a judgement free zone but what's the smallest thing that discouraged you from entering into a vast cultural landscape that others have found vastly rewarding. Mine was discovering that the hero/protagonist of Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash was called Hiro Protagonist.
