Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

Me, every time my hyperfixation leaves me, when I’m about to write the smut part of a fic, so they keep teasing each other more and more and I’m almost thinking of just blueballing the readers. (I’m almost at 3k words which isn’t a lot for me but for a one shot that was set at max 2k words… it is)
This is the moment when you translate idioms word by word and don’t look up a similar one in English and then one character says to the other to "Stop translating idioms…" and the other one is just "nope"

Istg, all those jayvik weeks really help me to force myself to write oneshots and not longfics… what do you mean I can just start with the plot and not have to explain everything, and give them 2038582 chapters until they kiss?!
