Marty was our org's "Corporate Doctor" during Covid. He made me unbelievably uncomfortable during that time and I'm so glad to see him out, but I also know that his replacement will be 10x worse.

Gravel Influencer@gravelinfluencer.bsky.social · 5mo agoLocal TV leads its Iran coverage by saying the "deal" includes "reopening" the Strait of Hormuz, but then adds that Iran will manage the Strait and charge fees. So, the Strait is *less* accessible than before the war. Media outlets don't need to accept the administration's framing of this ceasefire.
Tomorrow a new cat will join our house. Time will tell how Pippin (cat age 3) and Holly (dog age 11) react to such a change. Hopeful for the best, realize I will get little sleep for the next my month.

I'm in a Digital Project/Program position and whenever we do a large scale implementation/cutover I do an audible Go/No Go from all teams. It's not necessary, but it's a throwback to growing up with Challenger, living next to Johnson Space Center for 3 years, and being fascinated with manned flight.
