This is my Western Electric model 1500 desk set. This model is shows early the touch-tone keypads before the # and * were added. Often people call these sets "10 keys" a pretty apt name. This phone also shows the early modular plug before the RJ jacks where in common use.
this is my Western Electric model 3A payphone, these were only installed on a trial basis and never saw widespread use. This was the last model of payphone designed by Western Electric before the 1984 breakup of the Bell System. These phones are difficult to find with around 600 manufactured.
