Watching her twin sister be brutally murdered in front of her is just the beginning, and it quickly becomes background noise to the rest of her problems when it becomes clear that she, herself, has been turned into a vampire. In a bright twist of fate, she's quickly adopted into a small group of other vampires, folks who have been around for a good while (some for so many centuries it makes her head spin) and who have plenty of time to help her get back on her feet and get used to her new life. Her new immortal existence. But feeding on blood and avoiding sunlight without proper protection are only the first of her worries, and vampires aren't the only dangers that lurk in dark corners. If she wants to keep herself and her new friends safe, or be any help at all against what may soon threaten the very world itself, she'll have to learn how to navigate this new world far sooner than most.

i dont wanna go to my appointment tomorrow....i go too often, i'm so tired of it 😭 it's genuinely really nice to have a doctor who is genuinely curious about what's ailing me, but i'm on appointment #10 for the year.....haha....
