Believe me, slowing down is *not* going to make you a worse artist. If anything, stepping away from a strict schedule can give you the ability to further hone your skills by creating works that would take longer. It can also let you enjoy the process more with the ability to work at your own pace!

MORE than this. If you live in a red state check your voter registration NOW and again in October. Part of their plan is to massively purge voter rolls at the last minute. You may already have ben purged! Spread word on this! Do the simplest check on your most basic right? Tell everyone.

Yeah people tend to root the badness of grooming and CSA in like, a loss of innocence, but ime it's the power difference that hurts you. It's someone using you and trying to make you into what they want when you don't know how anything in reality works because you haven't been in it very long.

On the artist side: if you are an artist who struggles with deadlines but still needs to be able to make ends meet, this is the strategy I used that helps a lot with my personal flavor of ADHD. The TLDR: immediacy is key. No delays. Only accept money on the day you start work.

This is what works for me, personally, so YMMV etc, but what's best is just to skip the deadline entirely. I work like someone does at a convention or tattoo shop: you show up, you pay me, I do the hours you paid for right then, and when we part ways I have no more obligations. My work's done.

What important is that the person devoted their precious time to creating the piece by hand✨
