Even if we completely agree on goals and values, it’s okay to have discussions about the best policies to attain them. Policy isn’t easy, and thinking things through is not a betrayal to the cause.

But after he dies.... I would elect dead Fauci over MAGA all day. That's why they have to make it a law because they are afraid they can't win.

I vote for the normalization of the term "in vitreo" for cryoEM structures to sooth the brains of cell biologists that insist the cryoEM structure is not the native structure. (It is as close as we can get). This should both satisfy their thirst and aggravate them bc it looks like "in vitro"

Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean you can't talk about it. What it does mean is that you should listen more and shut down others less. Injecting your one off anecdote into a scientific conversation as evidence is free speech but its not helpful
