Blood Meridian is teaching me all kinds of new words while a bunch of guys starve to death in a desert on some sort of suicide mission to stop Mexicans from becoming French.

My partner told me there's nobody in our town that looks like me, but there are a lot of people that look like them. I kind of laughed it off, but I've ran into five people now that look exactly like my ex except for different hair colors. It feels like someone is playing a prank on me.

I don't understand temptation anymore. I don't know what happened to me. I'm not tempted to do fuckin anything. Maybe I've become some sort spiritual juggernaut, but it's also just as likely that I have depression.

If you can't solve my puzzle I'll feel really fucking bad. Wrong. Wrong. You have got to press the buttons in the correct order, that's all the hints you'll get from me. Wrong. No, not that one. Oh my fucking God. Okay, no, you got it. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.

Duality of the Southern Thing is maybe the pinnacle of redneck leftism. I'm not saying if this is good or bad, I am only Speaking Truth to Power™.

DALE COOPER: [runs down the stairs too fast because he really needs to pee and trips and rolls to the bottom while pissing his pants] WINDOM EARLE: [500 miles away] (smiling) Knight takes Rook... Check.

Writing my Adam and Eve story. Never before has the threshold between comedy and horror felt more concrete. I am unsure of how to bridge the divide between how funny this story can be and how heartbreaking it must be for these characters.

I think the next story I do will be about Genesis. There's so many fascinating ideas no one explores or questions. God's reveal that the serpent had legs at the beginning of the story is funny, I think it's intended to be funny. No one finds that as funny as I do.
