Looking at the plenaries for the annual meeting, I noticed there are no women featured. As a woman in STEM, I'm disappointed to see this. Even if the organizers invited women researchers who declined, it begs the question, "why?" How can AFS better support women and marginalized scientists?

6 days of field work and likely the last until my next position. It's nice to get out of the office once in a while and relive why I chose this career path. It's also always a great time when working with the CFAAS crew at SIU.
