Leak in the gas service pipe. They cut off the gas to repair. They need to renew the link to our house (us & downstairs). Lots of coming & going yesterday, much more (&noise) today. Gas comes back on by tomorrow. Glad they caught it so we don't explode, but harsh on system.

Last night there was an arson attack on a mosque in Peacehaven.

It is possible to be against genocide (even protest against it), and at the same time, being against antisemitism & the horrible attack on Manchester. I agree with Zack Polanski, mixing both & conflating issues isn't helping anyone. It makes things worse.

The Brooks’ burrowing frog (Glyphoglossus brooksi), an amphibian unseen for 14 years, was recently rediscovered in Sarawak, Borneo. Endemic to only a few areas of the island, this rare species grows up to 7 cm long and lives hidden in leaf litter.
