A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

I don't attend a particular history conference anymore after a man walked up to me in the book room, shook my hand, & then grabbed it, pulled me, & forced me to touch him. That's not the part that still infuriates me. The conference excused it... 1/2
they said he was old & a bit odd. They said he might even be autistic. I was told if I wanted to return to the conference, & he did too, that I would "have to deal with his presence." Absolutely the F*** not. I never went back. But please know, people excuse this behavior all the time. 2/2
