Today marks @lesswastelaura.bsky.social (Laura Anderson's) last day leading the SAGES Digital Science Communications, bringing to a close more than two and a half years of incredible work helping transform how SAGES communicates science.

We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming Dynamic Earth and Dundee Science Centre to our Annual Science Meeting 2026 to hear about their amazing work with public engagement, and hear about how our scientists can get involved!

Great to have this project update from Dr Eileen Tisdall who received funding from a small grant for this research on "Restoring the balance-a collaborative approach to marl lake restoration". The main collaborators were University of Stirling, University of Glasgow & British Geological Survey.
