Finally managed to participate in a Prelim, after 7 didn't fire! I wasn't expecting it so I only had 4 minutes to build my pool, but it worked out and I grabbed a 4-0 to play in the quali today. I'm streaming it in an hour and change!
I think that if an mtgo event is scheduled and I sign up then I should get the prizes regardless of how many people who up. Maybe I'm just salty because I wanted to play in this qualifier tomorrow that I need points for, and 0 out of SEVEN prelims I signed up for fired so I don't have the points

This blurb from the pro tour article is riling me up. MSH is one of the least synergistic draft formats I've ever played. The defining feature of this format to me is that most of the intended synergies are eclipsed by strong on-rate cards.

I've been winning a lot and having fun with MSH, but after 23 drafts and 3 sealed events(87 packs opened!) I feel like I'm allowed to be annoyed at the 30 Rares I've never opened or been passed. I've played with 4 of these cards in the 7 sealed Directs I played since I took this screen for 2 boxes.

If you haven't tried an anime dub lately, there's been a recent trend of having lots of different accents and the difference it makes is fantastic. I am HERE for Scottish Bunnies, Ukrainian Wizards, and British Witches.
4 Premier Draft trophies in a row at Mythic to hit Rank 85, with just 2 rares per deck. I'm really loving how flexible you get to be in this format, and how interesting the gameplay is. Everything seems to work and all but 3 of the rares are interesting buildarounds @fireshoes.bsky.social ^_^
