Hello! I need an emergency DQ iii expert to record a Pantheon of the Blood God with us tomorrow evening (PT)! Are YOU a bad enough dude to volunteer?? (Preemptive thanks for volunteering if I don’t get back to you. 😀😎❤️🐉)
The Hobbit MTG set is out this weekend, but we are getting previews of Star Trek cards after seeing a number of Hobbit, Reality Fracture, and Star Trek cards at the last Magic-Con, and this is six weeks after the release of the Marvel set there are simply too many cards
playing through Big Walk with this trio and hitting this moment... well, Jesse captured it just right. from confusion, to panic, to a pause, to chit-chat and laughter. this room was on my mind the whole time i was writing the review. Big Walk is awesome.
Blogged about my favorite Big Walk puzzle and how it distilled the game's thesis into a single 5-minute puzzle. Small spoilers for this puzzle!
We’ve set up a video game hot take show inside of Big Walk. Welcome to Big Talk Our first episode is up on the Restart.Run socials IG/TikTok/YT Shorts We would love to bring more people on the show

my youtube algorithm has been serving me a ton of Hearthstone VODs circa 2014ish and its awesome, actually
The biggest tip I will give everyone for Big Walk is to turn your HUD and crosshair off, really made every visual moment in the game feel so special
i Walked, Big, and really enjoyed it. what few hang-ups i had feel small compared to what things it does so well. it was hard not to think of days i spent hiking in the woods with friends, and the sorts of silly activities and little bonding moments you'd have in those long moments of just walking.
Big Walk is a co-op adventure with some particular requirements. But the journey you get in exchange is well worth it. Here's our review of Big Walk: gameinformer.com/review/big-w...
We can finally talk about Big Walk by House House? Yay! Finished it a week ago, late at night with dear friends after an exhausting week of caretaking IRL. It’s a delight from front to back and a must-play for puzzle fans or people with friends GG @seamoosi.bsky.social @mamavitelli.bsky.social
Heartbreaking: Local Man Starts Movie That He Didn't Realize Was Longer Than His Flight, So Now He Can't Watch The Last 50 Minutes Of Project Hail Mary
that's credits on The Mermaid Mask, a wonderful follow-up to Tangle Tower. a slow build, but worth it for the exciting untangling of its final hours. cannot recommend it enough for mystery fans eager for something to solve, and its hints system makes deductions as head-scratchy as you want.
i'd be nowhere without incredible editors, and i tried to pass at least some of that benefit on, even when i was editing 20-40 pieces a day at a previous site. the erosion of editorial resources has made that kind of work rarer by the day, sadly. 🫠
I've very rarely had editors do any kind of editing of my work while in games media. It has made me feel very self-conscious because I'm not sure if I'm writing anything good or not. It has also robbed me of opportunities to grow out of bad habits because I don't even know if they are bad.
watching ESPN in airports while traveling has lost a lot of its appeal now that it's basically a video podcast channel starring one very unlikeable dude
it rules that they had dialogue ready for anyone who tried this
We're moving into a very busy games season, so I want to get this out here yet again: Need help with reviews? Hit me up Need help at an event? Let's talk Have some previews you would like a hand with? I'm available. Contract or hire me for stuff OR I can at least point you to other great people
today marks my one-year anniversary at Game Informer! over the last 12 months i've moved states, traveled abroad, and worked video on 5 (soon 6) cover stories. wrote features and reviews, built an offsite podcast studio for SGF, and held my byline in my hands. it's all been excellent.
This week we're reading listener questions like: - What are our fav non-violent RPGs? - When is a dungeon puzzle too much puzzle? - Why aren't more games Racing Lagoon? PLUS Nadia's playing Splatoon, Eric talks Avatar AD-FREE: www.patreon.com/bloodgodpod/... FREE: pod.link/969659784/ep...

another day of seeing the ripples of a discourse but having no idea where the rock first dropped in the water
FWIW, a lot of this also applies to interviewing Japanese game devs too. Not all the time, but far more often than I’d like. And as someone who’s also done the anime beat - absolutely agree

what's everyone else's fab examples of once massively popular and influential landmark titles in especially western games from back in the day that have just been forgotten and abandoned completely now. mine is black and white
