I corresponded with Anne Carson back in 2000, with a treatment to adapt her “Autobiography of Red” for the Montreal Young Company. She didn’t like it and encouraged me to adapt my own myth instead. This is how I came to write my first novel, “The Girls Who Saw Everything,” replete with muchness.
