“Imbecilic leeches in buxom figures!” I shout at them. “You really think I’m buxom?” asks my insecure friend, smiling and looking reassured for the first time since I’ve known her. This is so delightful! A great @seandowie.bsky.social fairy tale in @hexliterary.bsky.social today!
"I need to become a wrinkly, bitter old person immediately." The hex crew is very excited to have @seandowie.bsky.social back with another strange and hilarious tale! Sean's latest is a surprising and wonderful take on youth in which everything goes... right? Don't miss Oldgirl, up now on the site!

My favorite critic loved my story Oldgirl in @hexliterary.bsky.social! I've read Huck's short fiction roundups for years. It's where I discovered my favorite authors. I dreamed of being included, but believed I wasn’t “good enough”. Well, Oldgirl didn’t get in his roundup…it got a damn video!
"I need to become a wrinkly, bitter old person immediately." Everything @seandowie.bsky.social writes is surprising and funny and wonderful, and I'm feeling SO stoked that we get to feature his third with @hexliterary.bsky.social! Don't miss this witchy wonder!!! "Oldgirl" is up now!

In 2022, 2023, and 2024 I had 0(!) publications, and countless rejections. It was a bummer, and I wondered if anyone cared about my weird stories. This year, I had 6 publications. Thanks to those who have accepted and read my work, showing me that maybe I'm not the shittiest writer.
I have a story out today titled Corporations!. It's my favorite thing I've had published this year. Thanks to @maudlinhouse.bsky.social for finding a home for it. I like nothing more than a story that's funny and has a dramatic core that's depressing as fuck. Enjoy! maudlinhouse.net/corporations/
