extremely excited to be reading longer fiction for the deadlands. and I will say, most vaguely, that we have some very cool things and stuff coming along from, into, and throughout the deadlands. everything moves so slowly and so swiftly at the same time all the time...

Anyway! This seems like a good time to re-up my book that came out in February -- ONE MESSAGE REMAINS is a mini-collection with a brand-new novella and two new novelettes, plus one reprint, set in the same world! bookshop.org/p/books/one-...

that feeling when you discover a new musician that you LOVE that really SPEAKS TO SOMETHING INSIDE OF YOU and you go deep, deep into the internet to verify THIS IS A REAL PERSON, NOT A BUTTON SOMEONE PUSHED and the relief when you discover them and see them singing with their human vocal chords

some personal news... Beth and I have moved to Europe, as of 7am (local time) this morning. we'll be living in Spain for the next few years... your regularly scheduled Psychopomp stuff should be largely uninterrupted, as there's an amazing team in place. hello from London!

Happy Friday! May I present for your consideration: buy my book? The reasons you should do this are: it's my book, and it's very good, and it has a radish and her fox wife whom she adores and also a rock determined to live her best life even if maybe she wasn't meant to have a life to live.

sorry to everyone that ordered @premeemohamed.com's ONE MESSAGE REMAINS on Kindle. we messed up one tiny thing and they killed all preorders, removed it from the kindle store, and revoked our ability to ever have a book for preorder sale again we're working on getting it back up for sale by Tues

can I build the media company I want to build and sell books @ Psychopomp only and not ever have to deal with Amazon? do I need permission for this or, like... is everyone that loves us just on board with this? can I just do this??? i think I can just decide to do this...

hey look it's me talking about publishing ...in this current issue of Clarkesworld (a magazine I used to do some work at, which is just one of the many things you'll read about in this interview) if you're into/curious about Psychopomp and the TWO magazines I publish, you might enjoy this :)

I just learned that Michael Jackson allegedly would get up and set down tracks whenever the thought came to him because he was afraid if he didn't do it asap the muse/God/etc would give it to Prince instead and if this concept is true I have some work to do.

publishing is so great me: hey, how many books are we selling on preorders, so know how much of @premeemohamed.com's amazing, HIGHLY ANTICIPATED BOOK to have printed. distributor: idk... me: uh... how do we find this out?? d: it's a mystery, it is unknowable. :/ so I'm just guessing.

i have such a hard time typing "psychopomp" -- which is unfortunate because I have to type it about 87,000 times per day. i think it's because I'm left-handed, and that last "hopomp" -- esp the "pomp" is particularly tough, as the last few fingers on my stupider hand are particularly stupid. 🤷
