A celebration of our favorite anime features! Japanese animation in particular can tell stories that deal with more adult themes, and has a style that showcases greater attention to the scenery than most Western animation, making it feel more immersive and lived in.

unremittingly obsessed with Luca Tóth's "Vegan Mayo" after seeing it last weekend at @seasluganimation.bsky.social. it's a real novelty for me to have something stuck in my head and no way to relive it on demand! watching weird short films at festivals gives a rare taste of media scarcity. love it.
