I picked up some Japanese BattleTech books and I love how they reinterpreted the reinterpretations of the classic ‘Mechs. This is Mercenary’s Star, by William Keith.

regretfully paint.NET is genuinely irreplaceable. for some goddamn reason it's impossible for any other image editor to spin up in less time than my fucking operating system takes to boot. if your "paint.NET alternative" needs to show a 10sec splash screen and a project launcher you have failed

my big Reclaiming My Room project has forced me to free up space on my bookcase, and i am surprised how easy it is for me to part with some books i've had for 10-15 years. i remember being way more sentimental over this kind of thing when i was younger.

coffee shop sketching in a new sketchbook. this time around i think i'm gonna start cutting out my drawings and taping them to my closet door. a little embarrassing to be in my mid 20s and have 0 decorations in my room!! #seneraeart

A collection of rough pencil sketches on paper, including a girl lying down with flowers, a cat in a tiny dress, the back of a woman in a dress, a woman charging up a punch, a mechanized infantry unit, and a woman holding up a book.

i started drawing again in '22 and i dont think i really internalized this and stopped letting it affect my mood/motivation to draw until like, *this year.* i dont share something like 95% of what i draw and i'm happier for it, i reckon.

Art tip: don't share everything you draw. Draw things you never intend to show anyone. Your brain needs time to just exist in a state that's not about performing for strangers. This used to be the normal way to exist before social media poisoned us.

i live in texas so i can't really access this site anymore except for an extremely funny loophole in the location blocker's implementation that i will not be elaborating on publicly. anyway here's a bio-mech sketch #mecha #seneraeart

A sketch of a mech with sharp, bony appendages and animalistic features being hit by a red beam.
