Went to DeSerres and got not one but two replacement notebooks - one with graph paper and the other with dots because I’m a game designer, dammit! Also, replaced my old Sakura Pigma microliners with a set that has a mechanical pencil because I’m bougie (and maybe a little masochistic) like that.

Rhodia note books (dot and graph) plus Sakura Pigma microliners. Stationery FTW!

Wandering around beautiful Montreal eagerly awaiting FLIM’s opening. Stopped at a very old school Viet restaurant for cà phê phin den phin dá (because I shouldn’t have condensed milk anymore) and proceeded to spill water on my design notes. Off to the stationary store, I guess.

9 hours left on the #PsiRun2e kickstarter. $772 left to unlock the "More Money For Artists" stretch goal. That would be way cool to wake up to! Thanks to everyone who played it, backed it, shared it, talked about it; you've made this a blast. #pbta #ttrpg #dnd www.kickstarter.com/projects/117...

✂️🎲 Big shout out to all the content creators and publishers in the hobby gaming space that attribute the designers and artists who worked on the games we love to play. I, for one, appreciate it.

At the Guelph Public Library today, peddling my wares for *very* good prices (because I can’t take anything but exact change). My booth skills are so rudimentary lol. I have no float, no tablecloth, an out-of-date banner… to quote Blanche, “I often rely on the kindness of strangers…” Drop by!

Public Domain Art is the lifeblood of small tabletop rpgs, but it can be a nightmare trying to find the right art and license. This week, I’ve re-uploaded my old list from 2020 (with updates) of public domain websites. That's 500,000+ public domain paintings, photos, maps, and film. Link below 🔗👇

✂️🎲 Sometimes, paper and pencil just works best. David Killing is great at turning our ideas into a physical reality. Sketches are often the between steps before he moves to CAD and then to fabrication.
