This and the next episode are literally the only two Coronation Streets I have ever seen (I was staying with my Grandma and Grandad in Kentish Town at the time). I suppose it must have made an impression.

It's impossibly sad that we've lost the best of men in Justin. Lovely in person, a pleasure to work with and a joy to read (Theatre of War, System Shock and Grave Matter leap to mind, but I never read one that didn't thrill and delight). My condolences to his family, and closest friends.

Can't help but be amused by the sight of people fulminating against a social media ban on just about the only platform they're not bothering with, because there are so few people on it. Seriously, no-one's listening! Bluesky is totally irrelevant, it might as well be a Yahoo group.

By the same logic, I demand to be made the England football manager IMMEDIATELY, because only someone with *no interest whatsoever* in the tedious business of kicking a ball about a field can be trusted with the job. I've never watched a game to the end, so frankly I'm overqualified.

Instead it should be written by people who hate the series. Just being unfamiliar with it isn't enough. They need to have a violent emetic response to just hearing the theme tune.
At last. And it seems not a moment too soon. What is the secret of the Haunted Windmill?
