I like games where you mow down hordes of monsters and I don't really care for games where you are fighting a damage sponge. But I realize that I do like it when it's a powerful boss monster that gradually gets weaker and more visually damaged over time.

I like the "6 7" meme. All because if it was a thing when I was in school, the teachers would be screaming at us and handing out detentions for "gang signs" and "devil worship"

As much as we all abhor botting in MMOs. I had a thought.. what if someone were to make a game centered around controlling an army of bots to gather resources, and another bot army processing the resources, and selling the products to make number go up. Then I realize... that's just a colony sim.

One of the things I learn again and again being an artist in creative spaces is that it isn't about who has the best *ideas* or *ability*, it's all about who actually is able to pull through and make the thing. Even if someone else *could* make it better. Even if someone else had the *idea* first. 🧵

As fun as survival-crafters can be, I wonder if the trend is shifting towards diorama building games - for those who want to build beautiful places without the materials grinding halting the creative flow.

Something I really like about modern survival crafting games is that they tend to do something more interesting than just a hunger system, which tends to become a chore down the line... I'm a big fan of Valheim and Enshrouded giving buffs for eating =w=
