i've noticed there's a hybrid driver on linux for old intel gpus that can do vp9 decoding, i've installed it and now i can finally watch YT in 4K without my computer screaming for mercy :D

being more specific with my previous post is there, like, a good lossless compressed video codec i got really good results with a matroska RGBA+FLAC combo compressed with LZMA, though ffmpeg (nor any video player) can't handle such files natively AFAIK :(

ran into one of those classic "fake video files that are actually just an exe" files but for the minecraft movie today (yes they still do this), unfortunately its nothing exciting, just another generic info stealer that grabs stuff from shit like ur browser

a screenshot of a file that is pretending to be a video file for the minecraft movie, but in reality is a program executable with malware on it

if anyone uses the Redirector extension, you could use this regex pattern: ^https?://go\.bsky\.app/redirect\?u=(.*) Redirect to $1 Pattern type "Regular expression" Advanced options>Process matches: "URL decode"
