I hate all the little friction points that AI has added to everyday things. Following an artist on social media. Reading an article. Looking at a product review. Like, I always have a healthy level of skepticism to anything online. But AI adds noticeable extra friction and I'm just tired of it. :/

Started the year just shy of 250lbs Down under 220 for the first time in like 5+ years I think rn. Got a stockpile of old clothes that I held onto and can finally wear again. :D I'm resisting buying any new as motivation to keep going to the *next* sizes down, which I haven't been in like 12+yrs.
Debating taking another crack at Wheel of Time. I've tried reading it a few times and I do genuinely love at least the first 6 books or so, but I've never made it past The Really Boring One Where Nothing Happens, whichever that is. 8 or 9 I think?
Been too long since I went to a con; going to plan to go to ANE since that's a part of the country I haven't visited before anyways, and it seems like a good one.

One of the most frustrating things about the age of AI slop is how many utterly useless game "guides" dominate all search results. It's such a PITA to find any actually useful info about a game if there doesn't happen to be a thriving reddit community for it. :/
This is such an interesting thread / chain, so many artists I love picking pieces that I would not have picked from them. Fair's fair though I've definitely noticed that many of my all-time fave furry NSFW pics are like, Page 2 of "<artist> order:score" on e621 haha.

Or how about, the theater experience keeps getting worse for higher prices, while home theaters keep getting better for cheaper? To say nothing of their decision to sanitize their films and not make them about, or even feature, anything not directly appealing to the most vanilla audience.

It would be interesting if there were like an equivalent of the "Detect Key" spell for these things. Just see all the little glowing outlines scattered through junk drawers and cabinets all over the house.

Saw a Lincoln Mark LT (pickup truck) the other day. Remember those were a thing? What made me think of it just now again was a Family Guy cutaway of a spoof Lincoln commercial that ended "Lincoln: What are we *doing*?!" and...yeah, lol.
