Jack Chambers relies upon citizens (or people in the economy as he calls them) not understanding what a judicial review is. If the state has broken the law you may ask the court to hold them to account. That's what a JR is, and what Jack Chambers is against. The government following it's own laws.

The story here isn't the mess made while scavenging for cans. It's that our government have so thoroughly failed people, they've turned to scavenging bins in desperation. The "solutions" offered here are to the problem of *visible* deprivation, not the problem of the deprivation itself. #Spéirgorm

The Minister is right his plan is, in fact, working. In loosing the rent controls the plan was to increase rents. That was the purpose of the new rules. The government insist that rents must increase to encourage supply, but one way or another the plan was always that you would pay more rent.

Families are paying a second mortgage on childcare while Ireland remains one of the most expensive countries in Europe. A public childcare model would cut costs and support providers. Vote for a person who is proud of his roots and passionate about raising his family in Dublin Central.
📈 New figures show 7,062 eviction notices were served in the first two months of the year - a 51% increase in the same period last year. Notices to quit peaked in February, at 3,138 - the final month before new tenancy rules, including longer-term tenancies by default, took effect on March 1st.
Shamefully the Dáil votes to continue to force women in tragic circumstances to travel to access abortions. The vast majority of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael despite a free vote joined Aontú and Independent Ireland against abortion rights. Sinn Féin abstained on women's rights.
People who fought for Repeal would be stunned to see the approach Sinn Féin are taking to abortion reform and our legislation, the Reproductive Rights (Amendment) Bill. It's appalling to see a self-proclaimed progressive party turn heel on progressing women's healthcare.
