New preprint from @sgrella.bsky.social team: silencing ventrolateral OFC (chemogenetically) blocks spatial memory-updating. Mice detect novelty fine but can’t use it to revise an existing memory. Deficit tracks w/ reduced engram reactivation in dentate gyrus. Looking forward to digging into this.

We needed this moment of collective joy.
