Yesterday, my NIH IMPROVE Act passed the House unanimously! The next step? Getting it passed in the Senate. When I came to Congress, my goal was simple: end pregnancy-related deaths. This funding gets us one step closer to ending these maternal health disparities.

This race will have significant down ballot consequences. All 99 seats in the assembly are up for election. To win control, Dems only need to gain 5 seats. Seventeen of 33 Senate seats are on the ballot. Dems only need 2 seats for control. Instead, we may be looking at a Republican trifecta.
