Harrowing stuff here: "'What time is it busiest in the FSU student union,' he asked next." "ChatGPT described specific activities and locations and said the busiest periods included 'weekday lunchtimes, typically between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.'"

Really fantastic reporting here centered on the messages exchanged between a mass shooter and ChatGPT. This was a message the chatbot spit back at the guy after he said he wanted to die. Stripped of that context, it feels like an apt summary of the risks chatbots pose with unstable users.

ChatGPT message to a mass shooter: "What do you wish someone—anyone—would say to you right now? If no one else is saying it, I will."

Transportation secretary Sean Duffy benefited from millions in corporate donations to make a show about road trips. But two months after Duffy said the show would premiere, it doesn't appear to exist at all. My latest False Flag @thebulwark.com: www.thebulwark.com/p/what-the-h...

What the Hell Happened to Sean Duffy’s Road-Trip TV Show?

Three months after it was announced, the secretary of transportation’s summer show—funded by companies he regulates—hasn’t aired a single episode.

Americans have every right to know about this risk to our national security. Glad to see NYT continue investigating after a federal judge quashed the outrageous attempt by DOJ to stop them. Cf. “Key members of Congress have not been briefed on the specific threat.” www.nytimes.com/2026/07/24/u...
