Handy Dani Dyke

If women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. Spinster, T4T polyamorous & polysaturated lesbian, dyke on a bike.

A memory of high school was my father trying to sell me on going to Penn State by taking a trip there during which he endlessly emphasized the athletic facilities and the HUB. He ended up frustrated that my concern was "what's their CS program?" unable to grasp why that would matter more to me.

the obsession with trans women in sports is, apart from the abject bigotry, a symptom of how we take amateur sports participation way too seriously in this country.

A discussion about HRT anniversaries today made me realize that a milestone passed early last year without me noticing: when I had been on HRT for as long as I had actively sought access to hormones. The magic number was roughly 15 years and 3 months: late June of 1994 until early October of 2009.

I love Jane's Patreon. Been a supporter for YEARS. She always posts wonderful recipes along with other great stuff. She is a fantastic human being and I would be personally grateful if y'all stepped up and supported her Patreon so she can pay rent this month and every month. #transcrowdfund

That's how you do it! Jesse Welles was scheduled to perform tonight at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. The workers of the venue called a one day strike due to severe problems with management on getting a contract. Welles refused to put anyone in the position of crossing the picket line.

Screenshot of a Threads post by wellesmusic which reads:
I'm solidarity with the workers on strike at the botanical garden we are rescheduling our show this evening in Richmond.

To the fans: we would not want to put you in a position to cross a picket line, we are sorry.
To the garden: pay a living wage or get lost.
To the workers: never back down.

We've rescheduled the show for Friday, September 25th, at The National. Your tickets from tonight will remain valid for the rescheduled date. For those who cannot make this date, refunds will be available at your original point of purchase.
