Folks, if you're getting into the mood for Spooky Season and want a very excellent slow burn folk horror game, I cannot recommend The Excavation of Hob's Barrow highly enough.

I finished The Mermaid Mask last night - gorged through it in 2 days / 10 hours - and what a good time I had! Lovely, well-written characters, beautiful visual art, great music, animation and VO. Interesting story and puzzles. A class act. It even has good poetry! (huge fan of Sym here)
