I'm sure Colossal Bioscience will produce hundreds of Thyla-steins in their search to develop a reverse-engineered Thylacine. Dunnarts are tiny; 6-9cm long, up to 20g Thylacine adults; 1.8m long nose to tail tip, up to 40kg. #Thylacine

I'm thankful for all the birdlife in my yard, but I just had to take my hearing aids out because there are Magpies serenading and scolding the butcher bird, the peewees are twitting every other bird in their territory, and a baby helmeted friarbird has just lobbed up screeching at the honeyeater.

I've worked at my current employer for 20 years. I've never respected anyone in this place as much as I respect the woman who's packed lunch today consisted of an entire box of Milk Tray chocolates.

When I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody as a 10 year-old in the 70s, the line, 'Mama, just killed a man', annoyed me as I thought his mum had killed the man and the singer was getting blamed for it. I remember thinking she wasn't a very nice mum.
People who don’t know the difference between ‘entomology’ and ‘etymology’ bug us in ways we cannot put into words.
Not sure if I can remember more than two TBH... 1. Leisure and Recreation studies 2. Anatomy and Physiology In my defence, it WAS forty-one years ago...
Never mind the jobs you had, tell me five classes you took in college: 1. introduction to mass communications 2. psychology 3. geography 4. philosophy 5. introduction to the humanities
I haven't seen Short Circuit in ages... It's funny to see this like a bad 50s b-movie now. I'll give ya my feedback when it's over. Pretty funny that no one learns and we've been talking about being weary about robot armies for ages
This sounds like an important read. Disabled people have always been here, and have always deserved share in the same humanity as the abled. I think such a history is timely, too, with the livelihood of disabled people like myself at risk in this particular political climate. We are human.
Disability: a History of Resistance by David Turner Traces the history of disability activism from the 16th century to the present day. Every chapter has at least one story which could be turned into a Netflix drama. Enraging and inspiring, recommend. #BookSky
You simply cannot tell me these AI agents are straight out of Beelzebub's own fundament. Why BigBusiness persists with these malevolent gremlins is beyond me. They deserve everything they get and more. May they crumble into dust. #FuckAI
AI agent suggested installing a malware package. Engineer almost took its advice
@shanlscott.bsky.social guess where I went today? I bought tons of navel oranges, cabbage, mushrooms, tomatoes, and FOUR TUBS OF YOGHURT, one of which I'm tucking into as I type, haha. Thank you for the recommendation, and my new favourite bakery is right next door! XOXOXOXO

When a Marketer Invents a Comic- The Story of Garfield
There are generally three things everyone knows about Garfield- it’s all about a cat that hates Mondays, loves lasagna, and that it’s not really that funny. While the latter point may seem subjective,...
