I don’t have a way to cover this in an actual article but I have just received a press release that I think my audience will want to hear about: White Lily tells me they are releasing a line of ready-to-bake frozen biscuits in southeastern supermarkets

ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

Police officers who publicly declare that they’ll quit if a mayoral candidate they dislike wins the election are (1) usually bluffing—sure buddy, toss away that paycheck and pension—and (2) exactly the sort of cops cities would be better off without, ones who don’t see themselves as public servants.

Lots of nostalgia for the golden age of magazines/expense accounts/travel and decadence. But whenever I take a spin through the Atlantic's archives, I yearn for the days of magazine writing where people were literally like, here is simply a piece of food/geography that exists

How cowardly, cancelling National Endowment for the Arts grants on a Friday night. At least do it in the daylight on a Tuesday. To hell with Elon and his army of sad kids.
