Morning! Pretty busy day today but I’m actually hoping to go back to bed for a bit as I didn’t get enough sleep.
Heartbreaking. 💔 Bar, a survivor of the Nova party where his partner Liron Barda was murdered on Oct 7, took his own life at Liron’s grave. Liron was the bar manager, she didn’t flee but stayed rendering aid. Just last Wednesday, Bar was still celebrating joyfully at his brother's wedding.

the Holocaust as it is talked about in mainstream culture and sadly many social studies classes that are not designed to be Holocaust education, is basically a kind of "that it happened to the Jews, shows it can happen to anyone" but no it happened to the Jews because of 2,000 years of hate.
