when women can choose, they choose to have significantly fewer kids whether they're in Norway or Japan, and I'm not certain there's anything that counters that, no matter how generous the state is. Many women don't want to be mothers, and that's their right and should come first.

The ending of Joe Biden’s presidency is one of the most cringeworthy things I think I’ve ever seen in American politics. Very good domestic policy on many fronts but just absolute timidity and norms embracing in a way that exposes the weakness of the party and something they don’t wanna change.

This year marks 16 years since the federal minimum wage has been raised. That's unacceptable. Keeping the wage floor so low keeps everyone else’s wages down too. We all deserve more.
