It’s been a week since MCM Birmingham and I’m finally over the my cold! Huge thanks to the MCM team for being so supportive this year. Those nerds mean the world to me. MCM Birmingham's AA growth was a great success jumping from roughly 80 to 140 tables this year too!
Me and Iain chat news, themes and a few Q&As that have been forwarded to us over the past few weeks~

Quick TB post! Only visited for the day but Thought Bubble had an incredible vibe to it. If you're into comics and human stories told through art the amount of talent and voices there was incredible. Absolutely worth the trip. Thanks to everyone who took the time to talk to me and show me around.

I'd say my first time running the MCM Artist Alley was a success! Still lots to improve on but if you're not constantly looking to improve and change for the better what are you working towards? Next stop MCM Birmingham!
This went live last night - a big PDF bundle of the books I've written at Image. Includes The Wicked + the Divine, DIE, Phonogram, Ludocrats, the first Power Fantasy, We called them giants, etc. Basically, this is the stuff I got into comics to do, and a great chance to grab it.

Happy birthday to my long time friend @shenny.bsky.social we've known each other more than half our lives at this point, we've DJ'd together, run events together, share a birthday month and year. Lots of love to you today ❤️
Today is my bro @homanc.bsky.social 's Birthday and this man is not only responsible for indulging my terrible event ideas but working hard to make sure they work and everyone has a great time. From college anime clubs, cosplay clubnights, conventions, DJ sets and so much more. Love ya dude! xoxo
I've been a little quiet on the work front as I adjust to a new role but at the start of the June I switched over from Content to Features~ So as of June I'm looking after the Artist Alley, Writers Block and Creator Pavilion at MCM! It's been a genuinely exciting switch to make!
Very proud of this one. As ever big thank you to @electrospectrum.bsky.social for capturing the event so well <3
