All seems to be good so far. So if she did hear me talking about her before I noticed the camera, she is pretending she hasn't and she's not good at that.

So I checked and yes it's legal for her to have a camera in a living room but under Washington state law, it is ILLEGAL to have it record sound, even in a living room, without the consent of all involved. So if she wants to make a scene, I'll threaten legal action.
My roommate installed an indoor camera, upstairs in the living room and she never told me about it. I have no idea how long it has been there or how many conversations she has overheard.
