I'll say it again: Reviews are the best way you can help a game you love (besides telling everyone you know about it!). If you like/love a game, pop a review on their Steam page. It makes the devs day, provides feedback, enhances the search algorithm and tells new players what to look out for.

I'm going to go insane crazy style... GB Studio doesn't actually have diagonal collision for actors? In the collision code, they just walk around things in the Y direction and then the X direction. Collision in the diagonal direction is never checked. Thousands of hours and I never noticed...

game devs: what are the myths that a lot of players of games think are true about making games that are completely untrue? If you could snap your fingers and they suddenly all knew the truth about it what would it be?

The muted palettes of this game have been a very big inspiration for my GB Studio work recently. The sprite art is also very good, and the backgrounds in the cutscenes are awesome.
