you know, when I still cared about follower count and shit back on twitter, I remember seeing an article with 'tips' for a successful art account. It said to never retweet other artists, only bump art once a month, only follow 'good' artists, so on, so forth. I tried doing that for months...
I just had an epiphany with the smudge tool in Photoshop while trying out this exercise from Kana-chan's painting course (a Chinese artist - kana_bgyjs in Twitter -) on the fabric section. I feel very happy with this (extra textures courtesy of nightshade). ☠️🖍️
