a better world with better file pipelines for manga is possible! No good reason any of this should come flat from the publisher unless it was drawn with pen and paper. (Amazing work though!!!)

(forgot the other part) the ideal would be either a separate set of bitmapped tiffs with all the text layers turned off, or all the original files from the artist. I've done both, both are great. Retouch is a 2-4x increase in work time. It would make production way more efficient.
