Just watched the Burnham interview on Panorama. He handles it well, as you'd expect, & is good on welfare. But the problem is that Kuenssberg just isn't a very good interviewer. The questions are designed to trap, not to inform, so you don't really learn anything (except that he's better at this)

Yes - I avoid it at all costs! When going to Shrewsbury I now approach from the Whittington roundabout, take a quick left and I'm on my way. It's a lot safer...
The Mile End roundabout in Oswestry is notorious for non indicating motorists..... it can be sheer guess work at times! Even the markings on the road are ignored by these non indicators!
Remember when hand signals were part of the driving test, and yes that was back when I learnt to drive... in central London... nothing like encountering red double decker bus drivers and black cab drivers to teach a learner how to behave and safely negotiate on the road. :)
