I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:

Screenshot of a Tweet from Pope Leo XIV. It reads:

"In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgen to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity."

Tá tão quente que eu tô passando mal e com vontade de vomitar. Só tenho um ventilador e a rinite pra me fazer companhia nessas horas, até o remédio de dor de cabeça não tá fazendo seu trabalho

SV fan, having been starved of official stuff since forever, poking a high quality beef in the oven with a stick: is this real food. This is not real food, is it. I'll only believe it when I'm chewing on it

I really wanted to draw #Stolas and #Blitzø nin the old demonology style, i started this drawing like foreeeever ago and then @tench.bsky.social convinced me to finally finish it so yaaaayy Happy New Year!!! #fanart #art #digitalart #helluvaboss

Stolas and Blitzø standing in front of each other, but they are drawn in old Demonology style (funny and a little bit derpy but drawn with a lot of ink hatching). Blitzø is holding grimoire in one of his hands and gesturing with his other hand

everyone wants to tell artists what to do and i wish we could shift to telling audiences what to do sometimes. if you liked webcomics that were on tapas, follow somewhere else. learn to use RSS. don't let the seamlessness of apps turn your brain into soup. you can change your habits

POKEBOOK IS FINALLY OUT! 💙 ✨ I'm very proud to show one of the biggest pieces I've made so far, celebrating the original 151 Pokemon (YES! ALL 151 ARE HERE!) Thanks a lot to @nintymedia.bsky.social for the opportunity! You can get your copy here: www.nintymedia.net/collections/...

Illustration with all 151 Pokemon from generation 1 together. I won't be saying all their names... I guarantee they are all there.

i'm on the 'these dummies will grow old as balls together' train btw #WHA #WitchHatAtelier #orufrey

chest-up fan art of Qifrey and Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier, depicted as an elderly couple. they both appear to be in their eighties, still dressed in their signature cloaks. Qifrey's hair is short and curly, the scar over his missing right eye sagging with age; he's not wearing his glasses. Oruggio has straight black hair with a deep widow's peak, slightly shorter than it was when he was younger but just as messy. his goatee is also unkempt.
Oruggio has his arms crossed, looking away with a cute grumpy expression on his face. Qifrey is leaning in from behind and planting a sweet smooch on his unshaven cheek.

Three panel comic. Panel 1: a man is standing in front of an older gentleman walking his dog in the park. The man, making a friendly gesture towards the little white dog, asks, “does he bite?” The older man replies, “no.” Panel 2: the little dog grabs the first man’s hand with his paw and gives the back of his hand a sensual smooch. Panel 3: the man pulls his hand back in disgust.

A little motivation

4 panel comic:
Panel 1: forg is drawing. There’s some extra pencils and some coffee on his desk. He says “all I can do..”
Panel 2: he is now doing work on his computer. Looks like he completed some drawings. He continues “..is my best”
Panel 3: he is now making some food in the kitchen, wielding a pan and wearing a tiny chefs hat. He continues talking to himself “..and my best..”
Panel 4: at the end of his long cozy day he’s in bed, and finishes his sentence “.. will do”

Distant memory. #art #fanart #svsss

Half body digital art of Shen Qingqiu, using mostly watercolours and warm tones. He is looking at the viewer with a slight smile, the white background mix with the washes of the watercolour, giving way to an ilusion of a distant memory.

i must not fear The Project

tumblr post by gailynovelry:
"The fastest way to accomplish The Project is to cease being afraid of The Project. The Project cannot maim you. The Project cannot kill you. The Project is more afraid of you than you are of it. It is okay if The Project turns out differently from how it was in your head, and it is okay if it has flaws. You are capable of engaging with The Project."
