Eldritch millennial, Presumption of Humanity is weird. TTRPG things and drinks plus politics. Watching C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. he/him

The outcome was inevitable. But like "2-Tier", "De-Banking", "Family Voting" - the grandstanding was never designed to highlight an actual issue. It was to bolster conspiracy theories & gobble up column inches. Col inches that might otherwise have been populated with Qs about George Cottrell.

Found this gate in York. It had a standard lock, plus a padlock and a chain holding it shut. It was very very securely closed. The only thing on the other side is a blank wall. The only conclusion I can make is that this is a magic portal to hell.

An obvious portal to hell.

Found myself in thy British Library this week, surprisingly easy to get to. To the opportunity to add a couple more Tales of the Weird to the collection. Already 80 pages into one. Might need to return later in the month..

Just a small thing I'm proud of. Made a personal goal to read 21 books this year, kind of pushed through that by February, gosh got shifted a couple of times, not reached the last goal I've set yet, but yesterday I finished book 100.

Did my semi-annual Rocksmith request site update and I think the site is as complete as it could be. Login via twitch, song requests, live playlist, priority token based on follows, etc. Looks like I've got no reason not to start streaming again. Fuck..

Did I sit myself in front of the air-conditioning for a brief respite from the ongoing hell of the weather? Yes, yes I did. A cool crisp 16c bubble enveloping me. Living like a king as the house reaches 35.

If i invented the teleporter from Star Trek, I'd design it so it doesn't teleport dirt. Clothes get dirty? Quick teleport and they're good as new. Someone needs to get O'Brien on this.

Yes Sainsbury's, a 10 pack of gluten free tortillas and a 6 pack of flour tortillas are comparable products. I wouldn't even have minded, but the GF ones I ordered (to go with the pack I already had) are small and the flour ones are large. Makes it hard to plan a group dinner.
