What’s really embarrassing is minimizing the efforts of “less than impressive” artists according to this guy. Beginner level art will ALWAYS be better than slop, no matter the quality.

I cannot say definitively that we'll never develop artificial intelligence. I strongly doubt it, based on the limits of technology and our understanding of consciousness. But I can say absolutely that an LLM will never be conscious or feel pain. It's a glorified Magic Eight Ball. That's all.
