I run a little Patreon and Ko-Fi where I make designs for people to stitch little plushies and charms in their embroidery machines, and August's design is Mothman and I am having to explain Mothman's butt to non-Americans.

New-to-me ER has one thing going for it: the metal detector picks up my knees (usually that takes a wand). This is the one that put them in, and I've been disappointed that they promised I'd set off detectors and mostly haven't.

Spouse just tried to help by changing the air purifier filter up here but (1) turns out removing the cover on a Blue Air puts ALLLLLLL the prefilter's dust into the air (note to self: vacuum that thing once in awhile) and (2) I ordered the wrong replacement. AQI upstairs is now, uh, bad.

I help out with an open-source project, which recently had to establish a "no AI contributions whatsoever" policy because the maintainers have been deluged with "here is a PR I had the slop machine produce, it has 147 different tiny changes, please review it" and there is simply no time for that.

(This is the old sewing machine equivalent of someone asking you if you want a Miata they've kept garaged for 30 years with the original dealer paperwork in the glovebox)
