I had this idea for a 4-player dynamic splitscreen setup. Not sure if it's better than a traditional splitscreen setup, but I like the fact that you can see the relative locations of other players visually. There's interesting code behind this, I might write a blog post about it! #godot #gamedev

HALO 2 officially launched 21 years ago today, November 9th, 2004. I was so excited for HALO 2. I bought the soundtrack on CD and jammed out to "Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin on my way to the midnight launch to pick up my copy. Years of LAN parties with friends would follow. Great memories.

We've been working on something exciting at Durandal. Alepha is not going anywhere and is actually going faster with 'Tank Game' (really need a name for it). Its been so much fun. Arena shooter feel with some wipeout and mario party. Exciting to share the demo in the coming months.

So what have we been up to? 'Tank Game'! Through a lot of learning on Alepha, trying more advanced mechanics like networking and objective gamemodes led us to developing a small scale party game to give us a testing ground and (hopefully) a released game. Still needs a name! #gamedev #unreal #indie

I miss the old days of HALO so much lately, y'all. It's hard to convey just how special that time between HALO 1, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach was. I miss couch co-op, Forge craziness, laughing together, playing slayer with friends... but it's all bittersweet now. Do you have any fond HALO memories?
