Being fair, Montiesquieu and Rousseau are somehow even more boring to read than Das Kapital. But, yeah, the idea of people not reading the basic material on their avowed politics is not something isolated to any one political ideology.

It sometimes seems like every "mainstream" political party in the Anglosphere is in a heated competition for who can be most cartoonishly evil.
When I was 17 years old and running a short campaign for friends, I wrote a little diary and made and aged the physical document over the course of an afternoon.
As a dungeon master, specifically, I find darkrob13's comments especially insulting. I, of my own free volition and with no thought of reward, do full canvas paintings for battle maps and key NPC token art. I put more prep time into hand-painted visual aids than I do even into writing my prep notes.

When I was about 30 I was living in Toronto and desperately trying to break into journalism. Having been informed that newspaper jobs basically didn't exist I went back to school and got a corporate communications and public relations cert. I was employed effectively immediately.
