Hi Figma, asking me to click an icon to toggle a single input field to set a value is pretty insane UX considering the alternative of just surfacing the value next to the label. 🙃🙃🙃

"Contemporary" marketing makes me feel dizzy 😵‍💫 Such accounts have the same schema: post something vague/motivational + attach an ad. I'm not even sure if what I read is written by AI or was recycled from many years ago. I'm 100% sure that it wasn't even typed. With hands.

Canadians are watching as Silicon Valley takes over the US government, but few realize Shopify executives are trying to bring a similar project to Canada — and the leader of the Conservative Party has started praising them for it. Read my latest for @thebreach.bsky.social:

Pierre Poilievre is cozying up to Canada’s far-right broligarchs ⋆ The Breach

Just like their Silicon Valley counterparts, some Canadian tech billionaires are trying to push Canada to the right

Few Americans have any idea how furious Canadians are about Trump’s tariffs, how (rightly) convinced they are that they’re permanent, and how thoroughly pols have planned for retaliation. Canadians will willingly incur massive costs to fight what they (rightly) see as both perfidy and illegality.

BREAKING: Ontario Premier Doug Ford says they are removing ALL American drinks from the market. The LCBO has a monopoly on drinks distribution in Ontario. Trump just torched $1 billion of US exports. Holy shit.

Every year, LCBO sells nearly $1 billion worth of American wine, beer, spirits and seltzers. Not anymore.

Starting Tuesday, we’re removing American products from LCBO shelves. As the only wholesaler of alcohol in the province, LCBO will also remove American products from its catalogue so other Ontario-based restaurants and retailers can’t order or restock U.S. products.

There’s never been a better time to choose an amazing Ontario-made or Canadian-made product. As always, please drink responsibly.

Do you like new Tailwind CSS landing page? tailwindcss.com/ A11y suffers, if it was a decorative background it's okay but these are classes that applied to show what it looks like below them. E.g., this is "text-8xl text-gray-950 tracking-tighter text-balance"

I haven't made a networking diagram in ages. Honestly, it's my least favorite part of CS! Crazy, right? It was my first job, plus I've worked in datacenters. Any suggestions on how to tackle this? #networking

Close your eyes. Breathe in. Visualize yourself stargazing with an old paper star map in a light pollution-free zone, SpaceX pollutes the night sky with satellites so you can tweet about your peace and quiet from the middle of nowhere. Namaste. 🧘‍♂️✨🌌
