You’d think Ken of all people could get a fucking clue. It was not a bad take. It was mild criticism with a statement about how it makes them, an actual trans person, feel when their friends and family support an institution legitimizing their lack of a right to exist.

My upstairs neighbors central air is down. Maintenance installed a window unit until the main one can be fixed. They had 2 living room windows to choose from and decided “Let’s put it in the window above the downstairs apartments door instead of above the one above the garden” 😑

As a cook myself I know that I could step in, use the same exact ingredients, steps and pans, but somehow mine will NEVER taste anywhere near as good as hers. Just like a sandwich someone else makes for you is always better than one you make yourself.

This sentient muppet, Squeek, still stinks QUITE a bit but on a scale of 0-10(10 being the fresh squeezed 🦨 juice) she’s down to 4ish. HankFrankTank is a 2, a regular doggy shampooing will probably set him right. Squeek will need another treatment and a full deep bath.

Mind you, “legal” migrant farm workers aren’t paid enough to begin with. The prison still deducts housing costs from the $1.50 the slaves make even though Taylor pays the prison $4.75/hr for the slaves. The parasite stemming from here says the inmates have parasites that ARE NOT being treated.
Chad Loder@chadloder.dev · 4d agoThe diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.
