All teachers are teachers of language. Every discipline has specialized vocabulary. You may not be the “English teacher” but you are still teaching academic vocabulary, writing forms, morphology, and comprehension skills. #OntEd #EduSky

Let us recognize that multilinguals bring a wealth of knowledge to our classrooms. A lack of English proficiency is not a reflection of a lack of intelligence or potential. Instead, it is an opportunity to build on their unique strengths & talents as they acquire a new language. #EduSky
